WHY HYDRATION MATTERS

Sometimes your body just needs fluid, fast

Normal saline is a solution of salt and water balanced to match your body’s own fluid composition, which is why it is one of the most widely used fluids in medicine.
Given intravenously, it reaches your bloodstream immediately, helping restore fluid levels faster than drinking alone. It can also provide a clean, neutral base for one of our vitamin blends.
01

Fast rehydration

Delivered directly into your bloodstream to restore fluid levels faster than drinking alone.
02

Supports circulation

Adequate fluid levels help maintain healthy blood volume and normal circulation.
03

Flexible treatment

Choose pure hydration or combine the saline base with a suitable vitamin blend.
A SIMPLE FOUNDATION

Pure hydration, with options to customise

On its own, this drip is pure hydration — our standard choice when fluid replacement is all you need.
It can also work as the base for a vitamin and mineral blend, allowing fluid and selected nutrients to be delivered in the same clinically supervised session.
  • 500ml quick top-up option
  • 1000ml full rehydration option
  • Optional vitamin blend after assessment
CHOOSE YOUR SIZE

Select the hydration level that suits your appointment

Your clinician will help you choose the appropriate volume and any suitable add-ons during your consultation.
01

500ml · Quick top-up

A faster session for a light refresh, or as a fluid base alongside a suitable vitamin blend.
02

1000ml · Full rehydration

A larger volume for more thorough fluid replacement when you are starting from further behind.
03

Essential Amino Acids

Ask whether the amino acid complex can be added to your hydration session.
04

Infinity or Myers

Selected vitamin, mineral, antioxidant and amino-acid blends may use saline as their base.
05

Vitamin C or NAD

Discuss whether either treatment is suitable to combine with hydration after screening.
+

Combine & customise

Choose normal saline on its own, or ask our team about adding an appropriate vitamin or mineral blend into the same session.

YOUR APPOINTMENT

What to expect

Every appointment begins with clinical screening and is supervised by trained professionals.
1

Consultation

We review your health history and confirm your chosen size and any suitable add-ons.
2

The infusion

A small cannula is placed in a vein and the saline is delivered steadily over approximately 60–90 minutes, depending on volume and combination.
3

Monitoring

You will be monitored throughout the session as a routine precaution.
4

Aftercare

Most people return to their normal activities the same day. We will give you any treatment-specific aftercare guidance before you leave.
SUITABILITY & SAFETY

Is it right for you?

Normal saline is well tolerated by most healthy adults, but it is not appropriate for everyone.
People who need to manage their fluid intake carefully — including those with certain heart or kidney conditions — require particular assessment. Our clinical team reviews your health history before every session.

Before treatment

Tell the clinical team about your medical history, medicines and any conditions that affect fluid balance.
  • Complete the clinical screening
  • Discuss heart or kidney conditions
  • Agree the correct volume and any add-ons
HELPFUL ANSWERS

Frequently asked questions

Still unsure? Our team can talk through your goals and health history before you decide.
Oral fluids are absorbed through the digestive system and take time to enter circulation. An IV delivers fluid directly into the bloodstream, allowing faster fluid replacement.
The 500ml option is a quicker top-up or add-on, while 1000ml provides a larger volume for more thorough fluid replacement. Your clinician will help you choose.
Often, yes. Saline can provide the base for several vitamin and mineral blends, subject to consultation and clinical suitability.
Allow approximately 60–90 minutes. The exact time depends on the volume selected and whether another suitable treatment is combined.
No. People with some heart or kidney conditions, or anyone who must limit fluid intake, may not be suitable. Clinical screening is required.
